Welcome to Invergordon – a large historic village situated on the beautiful banks of the Cromarty Firth with stunning views across to the Wester Beins & the Black Isle around 24 miles north of Inverness.  As you explore more of Scotland’s east coast take a detour of the A9 onto the shoreline road (B817) that forms part of the historic Pictish Trail – taking you on a journey across ancient landscapes where ancient Pictish stones can be viewed giving you a window into our cherished ancient history.

The village offers a good range of facilities, attractions & activities for locals & visitors alike – wander down High Street where you can spend local in a number of small independent shops & take in the colourful wall murals, join one of the many organised tours & excursions that are available with local companies or visit the Naval Museum & Heritage Centre where you can learn more of the town’s history or simply go outdoors and enjoy one of the many activities available – whatever you do if you’re passing through, stop and stay for a while and enjoy ‘What’s on’ offer in Invergordon!
